New Books On My Shelf #49

New Books On My Shelf is the new label for my former In My Mailbox posts to differentiate myself from the whole The Story Siren controversy. Here are the books I got in the past two or so weeks.

 Bought

Hourglass by Myra McEntire

The Selection by Kiera Cass (read and liked it)

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare (I'm currently reading COLS and I'm soo happy I found a copy in my local bookstore!!)

Insurgent by Veronica Roth (read it and it blew me away!!)

Gifts

Taking Chances by Loni Flowers (Thank you Loni for the birthday presents! This is probably the best gift you could have sent me. I mean, your own book, how awesome is that?! x)

The Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan

Did you get any new books this week? Please leave links in the comments to your  posts!

Great book haul this week and kudos to you for starting your own feature. I wanted to find another to link up with but I had trouble deciding, I never thought to create my own!

  7. I'm really not sure about The Selection. It sounds so good, but apparently one of the protagonists or so does something crappy.. And I'm sooo vengeful, I'll probably rip the book apart or something like that. XD

OOOH, COLS! I refused to watch the book-trailer until today. DAMN, now I really want to read it. This. Instant.

How do you like it so far?

  11. Yaaaay, Hourglass! I see you are preparing to read Timepiece *--* I have to buy it soon, too. And wow, The Selection is really pretty! I think I'd buy the book just because of its cover. But the summary made it sound awesome, so I'm waiting for your review to see what you thought of it :)

Sheeesh, I REALLY need to buy David Levithan's works. They seem so cute and sweet.

Have an amazing week, Sarah! <3
