On My Wishlist #12

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own On My Wishlist post. If you want to know more click HERE.

~ On MY wishlist ~

There are numerous books I would love to read, so that my wishlist should be called wishbook instead! But I want to present only two of those numerous books on my Wishlist so I've got many many more weeks of wishlists and great books to present :)

Here is #1

Forsaken by Jana Oliver

I am glad that I discovered this novel thanks to one of your WOW posts. I can't wait to read it, so I am asking myself :Why didn't I buy it when I was in London last week and saw it in about three different book stores?!

Riley has always wanted to be a Demon Trapper like her father, and she's already following in his footsteps as one of the best. But it's tough being the only girl in an all-guy world, especially when three of those guys start making her life more complicated: Simon, the angelic apprentice who has heaven on his side; Beck, the tough trapper who thinks he's God's gift, and Ori, the strikingly sexy stranger who keeps turning up to save her ass. One thing's for sure - if she doesn't keep her wits about her there'll be hell to pay...

 And #2

Fallen Angel by Heather Terrell

There are so many angel themed novels out there right now and I surprisingly do not get bored, but want to read even more of them!

When Ellie Faneuil first sees Michael Chase she feels an instantaneous connection. But she does not realize how much they have in common, including the ability fly and to see what others are thinking - not to mention a taste for blood. Reveling in their new powers and their growing feelings for each other, Ellie and Michael are determined to uncover what they are, and how they got this way ... together.

  4. I've noticed that books about Angels are overcoming the books about Vamps. :D haha. These both are so in my mailbox as well. :D Great choices. I'll be reading these for the 2011 DA Challenge.

  9. I think Angels are the new vampire and I am ok with that. I loved Vampires and I will love Angels--> although I don't think I read to many YA vampire novels. I hope you get your books soon! Happy Reading
