Book Blogger Hop #1

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books and is an awesome way to for book bloggers to interact and find each other. This week's question is: 

If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?

When I find a book I really enjoy I often tend to buy or try the other books written by the author. I read Delirium by Lauren Oliver and cannot wait to read Before I Fall aswell! I would also buy every book written by Veronica Roth, Cassandra Clare, Maggie Stiefvater, Kimberly Derting or Andrea Cremer. Their writing is so excellent that I trust in their sense for a good story blindly.

    I agree! If I find a good author, I want to read everything they've written. I usually end up finding out their style varies across series and other books, but I'm usually happy I did! :)

    I have yet to see an answer that says "No, if I liked the book great, but it doesn't mean I'll go looking for more from the same author." Welcome to the hop!

    I've not read any of those authors you mentioned - but I have books by Lauren Oliver, Cassandra Clare, Maggie Stiefvater and Andrea Cremer on my to read pile! :)

    I do try to seek out the authors other works if I loved a book but I often find mixed results.

    I am completely obsessed with the idea of reading every single thing an author has written if I like a book.

    Although nowadays I try to find new authors so I don't discover like 50 books they've already written that I could never possibly catch up on!

    But I love every single author you mentioned above :)

    Yes, once I read a book that I love I will try to read all other books by that author. Right now I have read all the Willa Cather books in my collection so have requested the others from the local library, until I can find them at garage sales or used book stores.
