US French German |
The French cover is plain at first sight, held in greyish colours. The longer I look at the cover, the better I like it. My favourite detail are the target rings around its title "Les ennemis du temps"(translated to: "The enemies of time" I guess).
Purple is my favourite colour, still the German cover is my least favourite out of these three. The effect of the guy walking on the 3D-like title is interesting though. "Sturz in die Zeit" can be translated to "Fall in time".
What do you think?
As far as cover art goes I prefer the US version, yet when you've read the book (which I have) the other two, especially the French one, fits the actual story so much better I think.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the French cover before - I like it! I think the US cover just wins it for me, though! :)
ReplyDeleteMust say I also prefer the US version - it really just jumps out at me.
ReplyDeletei like the french cover
ReplyDeleteI think the US did it best on this one, since it really captures the plot of the book.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I absolutely LOVE the French cover, but the US cover still wins for me. I see those models as Jackson and Holly, who I adore completely, and therefore I can't help but be drawn to that one more. I like the German cover but not as much.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! :D

I definitely like the US cover best - it's the prettiest, I think! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't believe I have yet to read this book.
ReplyDeleteThe US cover's definitely my favorite, although I really like the French cover as well, because it's got a unique twist to it. Sadly I don't really like the German cover at all...
Thanks for sharing! :)

ReplyDeleteI sorta like the US cover. I wish the French cover had the US coloring. lol...So...I'll go with French.
