Hi, I'm Sarah and I ♥ Books.
Let's state the important facts first.

Dislikes: My Alarm Clock
I'm happy to see you found your way to my little virtual book corner! I'm a 28-year-old literature studies student from Germany. When I'm not walking the dogs or hiking I love to cook and eat! My favourite cuisines are the Italian, Spanish and Indian.
Travelling and photography are my two other absolute favourite things, besides reading. I've done a lot of short trips, longer summer vacations in the boundaries of Europe and spent a semester abroad in Switzerland which was nothing short of amazing. Ireland, Scotland and Japan are three of the places I visited in the past years and I can't wait to return. Island and New Zealand are on top of my list of destinations I'd like to travel.
Books (obviously)
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty, You Don't Have To Say You Love Me by Sarra Manning, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard, Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
TV shows
Movies
Pride & Prejudice, Shutter Island, Les Misérables, Inception, Avatar, Tangled, Catching Fire
Florence + the Machine, Maroon 5, One Republic, Birdy, Ellie Goulding, Justin Timberlake
You might wonder how I came to start my own website. Actually it was a coincidence that showed me the wonderful world of blogging. I've always wanted to share my love for books with others, find out about new book releases and make new friends all over the world.
So I decided to start my very own book blog in August 2010. I've learned a lot since then, mostly taught myself to be better at writing and editing a bunch of texts.
What I love about blogging is that every day offers the chance to meet someone new, a fellow book addict. One of my favourite things in the book world is meeting authors, too. I met Maggie Stiefvater, Cassandra
Clare and Stephenie Meyer in Cologne and Frankfurt and they were the sweetest.
I remember the excitement of having a follower. The first reader of my blog. I was amazed when I hit fifty readers. How could I ever put the feeling of having numerous hundred readers into words? I'm still grateful for everyone who's reading my reviews and other posts on book news and features of all kind. You can't imagine how important your support, your comments, your feedback are for me. Thank you. And now go and grab a book! ;)
