ReplyDeleteHi, this blog's a good read - I quickly signed up as a follower. You may like to take a look at my blog (http://www.gatorrance.blogspot.com/) which presents chapter by chapter my debut crime fiction novel titled 'The Prey' - I'd appreciate any comments you may have. Thanks.

Hey, didn't want to leave this under an unrelated post:
ReplyDeleteThe Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger IS steampunk, totally so! If you haven't read any then I'd tell you, the first is the most hilarious in relationship terms and steampunk get more and more prominent with each volume.
It is as hilarious as I make it sound and totally worth checking out ;)

Oh I have to say I love your swap idea here! I didn't notice a spot to comment on it though. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah
ReplyDeletethanks so much for all those comments! You are amazing :)
About your questions:
1) No, Meg Cabot is American, but the edition of Insatiable I got is from Harper Collins Canada, it's just a different cover. I read a lot of her younger YA when I was around 15, so I'm curious about her older YAs (does that make sense?)
2) I already have a Maggie Stiefvater ticket because I work in the book shop that co-hosts the HARBOURfront Literaturfestival in Hamburg and a guide with all the events was practically shoved at me lol From what I gathered Kertin Gier and Cornelia Funke are on tour too :)
I'll get back to you with more comments on a night when I'm less antsy (Camp NaNo starts in two hours and my fingers are itching to get started), so until then, thanks again for the comment and talk soon :)
