Tell me, which GRACELING cover do you like best? US on the left, we've got the UK cover in the middle and the German one on the right side. Displaying swords the English covers lay focus on the aggressive side of Katsa. The German cover shows the heroine's sensitive and weak side, fighters are supposed to always guard their backs.
I have the UK version on my shelf and I really like it. The German version is beautiful, too, but I don't like the translation of the title :/
ReplyDeleteThe US cover is not so much my cup of tea :/

l like the German cover more, l don't really like covers with swords and things as l never think they are my sort of book!
ReplyDeleteThe German cover is my favourite and the UK my least.
ReplyDeleteI like the German one best, it has a more mature feel to it than the US cover does.
ReplyDeletethey're all gorgeous. i like the UK one though as the best match for the story :D
ReplyDeleteThese are all awesome in their own way! US looks mythical, UK is the most striking, and German makes me wonder about the character and emotions. But as for picking a favorite, I just can't on this one...
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time to see the German cover! It looks pretty, but my favorite is the UK one.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I love the one on the far right. Here is a post by Kristin with a ton of covers, Graceling and Fire. Pretty!

WOW. Those have some of the most beautiful covers, all three of them. But for me, it's a tie between the second and third (UK and German). Fun post! :D
ReplyDeleteUK all the way. It represents Katsa perfectly!
ReplyDeleteDid you see that there was another German one? It will be released by Piper this year.
I love the UK version - it really caught my eye and just stood out for me :)
ReplyDeleteI like the US one the best. It just looks kind of like an ancient book and I like that.
ReplyDeleteThe German is my favorite, and the US one just isn't my cup of tea :/
ReplyDeleteI like the UK one - the woman in shadow and the striking storm behind her - it seem more action orientated than the US or the UK one. US cover I wouldn't even bother picking up.
ReplyDeleteI like the UK one best, the German one doesn't really look like a fantasy book and I don't think it fits the book all that well, and I don't like the US one much... :L I loved the book though, need to buy the second one :L Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI like the German cover the best! The U.S. one has the best overs but it's sort of obscure...
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy all covers. I do think the UK cover portrays the book the best.
ReplyDeleteI like them all. I love the US and UK covers the best, though. SO GORGEOUS! *cover envy*
ReplyDeleteThe UK cover is really cool. It seems to capture the idea of the book the best - but the US cover has the different eye colors (back), and I think that is really important.
ReplyDeleteI like the US cover the best!I love the colours,it really catch my eye!
ReplyDeleteLooking at those three cover, I think I prefer UK and German cover. US cover got nice color but the I don't like looking at the weapon
ReplyDeleteI like the uk cover!!!
